Plot: The Cookie Jar has recently moved into a larger storefront allowing Hannah to expand her business such as roasting her own coffee. And Delores puts her P.I. work on at least temporary if not permanent pause as she is spotted by a director to fill in at the last minute for a commercial he is filming in Lake Eden, making her think about a Hollywood future, especially as this commercial work has led to the lead role in a local play she having only a week for which to prepare. Within this backdrop, a Swensen again discovers a dead body, this time Michelle, with Hannah by her side, the victim, a former classmate of Lonnie's who they met at Lonnie's Lake Eden High class reunion which Michelle attended as Lonnie's date, which Hannah catered, and which was held at Lonnie's married classmates' bed and breakfast. Hannah decides to stay out of the investigation until the official determination is made that it is a homicide, not with Lonnie as the lead investigator but rather Sheriff Ealing in Lonnie being a primary suspect, he thus placed on leave until his name is cleared. Lonnie being a suspect is due to his personal and professional connection to the litigation-happy victim, some aspects of the former which he does not initially divulge, and that he is the last known person to have seen the victim shortly before the actual murder. With Lonnie being Michelle's boyfriend who she is certain is innocent, Hannah decides she has to investigate to help Lonnie. While Sheriff Ealing is now accustomed to Hannah inserting herself usually usefully into murder investigations, Chad is a bit more cautious regarding her involvement in he not wanting to jeopardize a case that may go to trial. Regardless, Hannah, with Michelle, Delores and Andrea's assistance when required, places them all in potential danger at the hands of the actual murderer. Read More
